Today was the big disappointment day of the trip. A lightning storm came in earlier than expected and the afternoon cruise on the Bluenose II was cancelled. The earlier cruise was just coming back when I arrived. With the rain and lightning they didn’t even do an open deck. I admit I did cry !!
What to do now in the pouring rain. I decided to go back to Halifax as close to the ocean as I could get going through all the small coves and towns along the way. There were many cool shops, antique stores, etc.
At Donna’s for wine !!
Fishermen’s Monument carved in stone.
Breakfast with dear friend Larry near Tweed
My selfie skills need some work.
Today is the first of 5 repeat days. This is the same road as Day 12 and I couldn’t find anything new. It was a nice drive along Lake Huron.

The monster rail car comes across the road. Boats float onto the self leveling platform and tie on. The rail car takes them across the road and down a rail line to the lower lake.
